Inauguration Ceremony of the Fairfax–Quess Block, the Pediatric Specialty Centre:

Dear Friends,

Greetings from Christian Medical College Vellore!

It is with great pride and joy that, on behalf of the Administration, I invite you to the Inauguration Ceremony of the Fairfax–Quess Block, the Pediatric Specialty Centre at the CMC Vellore Ranipet Campus. The ceremony will be held on 1st October 2026 at 3:00 p.m.

The Fairfax–Quess Block will bring together many of our Pediatric Specialties under one roof, providing state-of-the-art, comprehensive pediatric care.

As we inaugurate this landmark Centre, we are immensely grateful for the Almighty’s providence, which has guided us throughout this journey and upon which we continue to rely as we move forward in fulfilling this vision. We take this opportunity to warmly invite our alumni to join us for this special programme. Please do let us know if you are able to attend.

We are deeply grateful for the generous support of Mr. Prem Watsa, Mr. Ajit Isaac and others whose contributions have made this project possible. We are equally humbled by the knowledge that none of this would have been possible without standing on the shoulders of the true giants who have shaped the field of pediatric care. These trailblazers have made significant contributions to CMC and to pediatric care at the State, national, and international levels.

We would like to sincerely thank you for your continued support and prayers. We kindly request you to continue to uphold the institution in your prayers as we transition to this new facility.
