The Clinical Toxicology Unit and Poison Control Centre, Department of Medicine Unit–1, is delighted to invite you to the Indo–Taiwan Symposium on Clinical Toxicology, a collaborative academic event jointly organised by the CMC Vellore Poison Control Centre, Tamil Nadu, India, and the Taiwan Poison Control Centre, Taipei Veterans General Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan.

This hybrid symposium brings together leading experts, educators, and researchers from India and Taiwan to promote cross-country collaboration in the management and prevention of poisoning and toxic exposures. Sessions will cover advances in common toxic exposures, chemical incidents, and snakebite management, as well as emerging areas such as artificial intelligence in toxicology and innovations in antivenom development.

 

The symposium offers a unique platform to share regional perspectives, discuss context-specific challenges, and strengthen evidence-based toxicology practice across Asia.
