This is to convey the sad news of the passing away of Dr. Margaret Riddoch on 20th September 2017 at the age of 89 in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Margaret Riddoch was on the staff of the Department of Anaesthesia and has been described by those who knew her as a gentle person and a friend to many staff and students of yesteryears.
As one of the alumni put it, Dr. Margaret lived a very simple life, staying in the Women’s hostel, and eating the food there instead of staying in the in the Big Bungalow. After her return to the UK, her home there was also a modest abode. She continued to help a lot of people in her own quiet way and kept in touch with staff and students of CMC.
Dr. Riddoch had cardiac failure for a few years and her health had been deteriorating over the last three months.
We thank God for the contribution of Dr. Margaret Riddoch and for the way she touched the hearts of our staff and students.
